Add a Splash of Color
1. Choose one black and white image from below. Add splashes of color to this image.
2. THEN, choose another image from below OR find a school appropriate, respectful image online. If you choose one online, you must CITE it.
3. Publish all images you make in a Google Slide Presentation. Each slide should have a creative title for your image, the before pic and the after pic. Add a citation if needed and state the image was edited in Photoshop. (attach as jpegs)

How to add color to a black and white image
1. Open image in Photoshop.
2. Go to Image --> Mode. RGB should be checked. If it isn’t, select it now.
3. Zoom in on part you want to change color (Control +)
4. Double click on the Quick Mask Mode - Select “selected areas”
5. Use paint brush to paint part that you want colored.
6. Click the Quick Mask again to turn it off. The painted areas should be selected.
7. Go to Layer--> New Adjustment Layer -->Color Balance. Click OK
8. Adjust sliders to the color you want. Click OK.
9. To add another color - select the background layer again, then repeat steps 3-8.
10. Save as a JPEG.
Publish all images in a Google Slides Presentation.
